Shortly after graduating from the University of Wisconsin, Cory became seriously ill with a blood clot in her left leg. Doctors predicted that she would never walk normally again. Nevertheless, Cory worked diligently to regain her strength and eventually captured the Ms. Olympia title on her first attempt.
Cory won an unprecedented six Ms. Olympia titles from 1984 through 1989. The Ms. Olympia World title is the highest and most prestigious honor in professional bodybuilding competition.
Cory retired from bodybuilding and became a well- known author, actress and role model. As a result of her achievements, Cory is one of the top names in fitness today and she dedicates her life to staying healthy and inspiring others.
With over 20 years of experience, she has become an expert in her field. Cory lectures at businesses and conferences nationwide about health, fitness, and the power of motivation in the journey to success.
